Happy November!
Hopefully everyone had a enjoyable Halloween.
November is starting out wonderful for Spanish 2. Students have learned how to conjugate in the preterite tense and now we are working on the imperfect tense! Next we will be learning when to use the preterite and when to use the imperfect. In November, we will also be focusing more on direct and indirect object pronouns as well as reciprocal actions. Students are also learning a variety of vocabulary that deals with toys, family members and how to describe behavior.
To demonstrate their learning, the students will complete a project in which they will write an essay describing what they were like as a child. The project is entitled "Cómo era."
The students will take their Unit 4 Exam on Wednesday November 14th. Thursday we will begin our new unit, which deals with food and restaurants. The students will learn how to give commands, the differences between por and para and a variety of vocabulary. Their culminating project will be to translate a recipe from English to Spanish. More on this unit to come!
Thanks!

The students are still continuing to work on their editorial. The final draft will be due November 20th.
